The High Lifter team drew from over 10 years of research and development to improve on its first mud tire – the Outlaw. The result was a tire with a robust feature package:

·Full side wall tread to increase traction in deep ruts!
·Scooped treads to maximize pulling, digging and paddling through deep mud and water.

The team upped the ante with the 29.5 Outlaw2 and designed a tread that wraps all the way to the rim. Recreational Vehicles sales continue to rise. These vehicle are not just for recreation but are being

used in many other fields. They are used on ranches, farms, state and national parks, as rescue

vehicles, fire fighting and simply getting into places where other vehicles can’t go. ATV and UTV

and RTVs have become a common possession of many families.

The UTV is a vehicle with side by side carrier. Accessories for these vehicles are multiple. You can equip

your vehicle with a stereo system, tops, windshields, rear cab guards and lighting systems. When the weather requires, you can also protect yourself with the zip enclosure. Carriers, like UTV roof baskets,

roll bar baskets, high seating, gun mounts and drink holders may be added for your convenience. These

vehicles often have larger tires, better suspension and more power. They are capable of travel over designated unpaved roads, traveling on four (4) or more low-pressure tires of (20) psi or less. They are normally less than seventy-four inches wide.

RTV vehicle are rough terrain or rugged terrain vehicles. The vehicles can be equipped with a flat bed that may be used for carrying an injured person, backboard carriers, utility boxes or cot adaptor to carry a full size stretcher. RTV’s are often used in Wildland Firefighting, equipment maintenance, surveying

vehicle, police/law enforcement off road vehicle, and jobsite transportation/deliver vehicle. They can

also be equipped as an emergency transport vehicle with complete ambulance equipment storage.

Defibrilator box, backboard mount, full size stretcher, steps for easy mount/dismount, bin box for supplies, and a canopy are some of the products available for ambulance use on the RTV.

ATV or all-terrain vehicles are probably the most common of the three. This vehicle is a small, open-motor vehicle having one seat and fitted with 3 or more large tires. ATVs are equipped with wheels and treads designed to travel on uneven ground. Other names for the ATV vehicle are quad, quad bike, three wheeler or four wheeler. It is a vehicle that travels on low pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator along with handlebars for steering control. It is not a street–legal vehicle in most states. ATVs are intended for use by a single operator, although some have been developed for one operator and one passenger. These are called tandem ATVs.

Honda made the first three-wheeled ATVs (1970) and Suzuki was the leader in developing the 4-wheeled ATVs(1982). In 1985 Suzuki made the first high-performance ATV followed Kawasaki. Then came the four-wheeled drive by Honda. Production of 3-wheel models ended in 1987 because of safety issues.

Manufactures switched to the 4-wheel drive.
